Mark Goldsack, councillor for Soham and CEO of the Voluntary and Community Action East (VCAEC and Volunteers Centre which has funding from the District Council), Lis Every, Ely and Jo Webber, Littleport are working together to expand the Car Share scheme which operates across the District. The demand steadily grows and new volunteers are always being sought.
This door to door service for those who cannot use public transport has increasingly become the only way residents can afford to go to their medical appointments and activities which helps their well-being.
