Keeping Council Tax low, but still delivering excellent services is a top priority for us, and we know how important it is to our residents.
We strive to maintain a balanced budget, so that increases in council tax are not necessary, and working closely with council officers, we have a long track record of financial strategies that enable us to present a balanced position for two financial years.
However, we are always looking ahead, and that’s why we have a sensible approach to being more commercial, by creating our Trading Companies to help meet our Medium-Term Financial Strategy, and allow us to both protect and invest in the services that are a priority to our residents.
