Then on to the Combined Authority’s Skills Committee to hear about projects investing in youth and adult skills in Cambridgeshire. Some very interesting reports including on how we measure success.
Alex and I are the committee’s ‘Rapporteurs’, meaning we attend to scrutinise the Skills programme for effectiveness and value for money, on behalf of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
(Although in general, we are not allowed to ask questions at the meeting so a range of facial expressions are essential…!)
