St Mary’s Surgery upgrade

Many residents of the Downham Villages use St Mary’s Surgery in Ely. After a lot of dedicated hard work over two years St Mary’s will be getting to work in the new year on a major redevelopment and expansion of their premises to future proof healthcare provision for decades to come.

The District Council is delighted to be supporting this upgrade with £750k of funding from our Community Infrastructure Levy funds which come from developer contributions. 

From Monday 20th December patients attending the surgery will need to go to the temporary premises at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely.  The all new St Mary’s Surgery is set to reopen in November 2022.
